ThreatLogic is an information security consulting company headquartered in the Philadelphia suburbs. Founded in 2016, we help companies large and small assess the effectiveness of their security controls and programs. The ThreatLogic team is also committed to advancing the field of information security through contributions to research and education of infosec professionals.

 

chris baker

Chris has worked for over 20 years in the healthcare industry to promote information security and has developed and led security testing, red team, and vulnerability management programs to evaluate and inform corporate significant risk decisions and drive forward global changes to improve the company’s defensive security posture. As a specialist in developing offensive security operations and talent, Chris is also a SANS instructor and currently teaches SANS SEC560 Network Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking.

Chris earned a BS from the University of Minnesota and MBA from Drexel University and holds several professional and security certifications including GIAC Ethical Hacking and Network Penetration Testing (GPEN), GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

John Hubbard

John is a Certified SANS Instructor and dedicated blue-teamer and is driven to help develop defensive talent around the world. Through his years of experience as the SOC Lead for GlaxoSmithKline, he has real-world, first-hand knowledge of what it takes to defend an organization against advanced cyber-attacks and is eager to share these lessons with his students and clients. As a instructor and course author of SANS SEC455 and the upcoming SEC450 Blue Team Fundamentals course, John specializes in threat hunting, network security monitoring, SIEM design and optimization, and security operations.

John holds an undergrad degree is in Electrical Engineering from Purdue and a masters degree in Computer Engineering, focusing on information security, from SUNY Binghamton.
